Nakama Package - pls do better

We heard Nakama's severance pay is based on the last performance review, making layoffs harsher. (Performance matrix at Bytedance ranges from 1 to 4): - Performance score < 3: 1.5n + 1, no garden leave. - Performance score > 3: 2n + 1 + service period + 1 month garden leave. Is this fair for those who have improved or had consistently good performance but were unlucky in the last review? Please consider a fairer severance package so they can start fresh and support their families.
